When the world’s best-selling tequila brand introduces a new flavor extension, it needs a launch like no other. As part of Jose Cuervo’s® #GetStung promotion to highlight their new cinnamon infused tequila, Cinge™, Eventus was brought on to create memorable experiences around the “sting of cinnamon”.
You can talk a big game, but when it comes to tequila, flavor cannot be explained. For Jose Cuervo Cinge, we had to take sampling to the next level by creating an experience that immersed fans into the world of Cuervo.
Over the course of seven weeks, we brought the flavor to consumers in seventeen markets. Cinge Girls welcomed bar-goers at the entrance of each venue and invited them to step into the world of Jose Cuervo. We showed fans how Cinge can “spark their night” — our teams handed out free samples and themed premiums including t-shirts, key chains, and shot glasses to keep the party going.
Across a total of 1,190 events, we handed out more than 238,000 samples and 110,000 premiums that gave consumers an exclusive opportunity to enjoy the unique taste of Jose Cuervo Cinge Tequila.
